JusticeForNajeeb echoed in AMU, students demanded strict action against the culprits

Aligarh Muslim University Student’s Union (AMUSU) organised a protest march. It starts from University Jama Masjid and goes to Bab-e-Syed on Friday after prayer. AMUSU, president Faizul Hasan, vice president Nadeem Ansari, secretary Nabeel Usmani, court & cabinet members and about 500 other students participated in the march. This march was organised for the justice of JNU student Mr. Najeeb Ahmed who has been missing for last few days after he was attacked by hooligans at his hostel Mahi-Mandavi in JNU in the presence of hostel warden and security guards. AMUSU president talking to media says that he was extremely beaten by the criminals then hospitalized and now he is missing for 12 days.  Condemning the entire administration of JNU and expressing a deep woe to crime against the victim, he called for all central and state universities student’s unions to seek  justice for their brother Najeeb Ahmed. He further said that JNU administration has not yet registered an FIR. AMUSU secretary said that the victim was beaten up by more than 15 persons and JNU administration failed to control the matter. The AMU student fraternity stands in solidarity to help JNU Student’s Union for seeking justice for Najeeb and probing the accused behind the case. He further said that they must be punished.
